Please, before filling in the registration form, read the practical indications.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION. CONDITIONS TO PARTICIPATE
Dates. Arrival of the volunteers on July 16. Departure of the volunteers on July 29. The people accepted must participate in the project from the start date, July 16, until the end date. Additions after the beginning or games before the end will not be accepted.
Transfers. Volunteers will assume the costs of transportation from their city of origin to San Millán de la Cogolla. The Foundation will not assume any transportation cost, but will provide all the necessary information to the participants to arrive by public transport.
Accommodation. Volunteers will stay in a rural hotel in the center of town, near the workplace. Volunteers will sleep in double rooms and will have to share bathrooms. The San Millán Foundation will assume the accommodation expenses.
Foods. Breakfast will be provided at the accommodation (self-service). Lunch and dinner will take place in restaurants in the town. Volunteers must indicate before arriving if they have any type of food restriction for health, religious or other reasons to adjust the menus. The San Millán Foundation will assume the expenses of breakfast, lunch and dinner during the stay of the volunteers.
Insurance. Volunteers must have travel insurance, health insurance or European health card. The San Millán Foundation will not assume the costs of the insurance of the volunteers. The Foundation will assume the civil liability insurance during the development of the project.
Sanitary services. In San Millán de la Cogolla there is a medical service and a pharmacy. All medical expenses that could be generated will be assumed by the volunteer through their insurance. The San Millán Foundation will not cover these expenses.
Working hours. The working hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. At 1:30 p.m. there will be a break for lunch. In the afternoon, starting at 5:30 p.m., various activities will be programmed. Dinner time will be at 9:00 p.m. This schedule may have some change, but volunteers will be duly informed.
Language. The work will be carried out in Spanish as the main language, since there is a part of contact with the local community and in English as a secondary language.
