Welcome to Emilianensis

Emilianensis is a project created by the  San Millán de la Cogolla Foundation which is intended to favour the consolidation of a programme to develop tourism and education through an innovative methodology in order to strengthen the Cultural and Natural Heritage of the San Millán Valley.

Our main target is to treat the Cultural Heritage in a creative and dynamic way for citizens, especially youngsters, to develop positive attitudes towards their home heritage and get involved in its preservation and enjoyment.
This project has been awarded with a grant by the Local Programme "La Rioja Occidental" (‘Western Rioja’) managed by the C.E.I.P. belonging to the EJE IV-Enfoque Leader. Besides, it is sponsored by Caja Madrid Foundation with the collaboration of the Order of the Augustinian Recollects.

Discover Suso and Yuso

We recommend a weekend in San Millán de la Cogolla in order to discover its natural and cultural surroundings. You can come on your own or with a group of friends.

All activities are free and registration is limited until full capacity is reached. Suitable for youngsters and people older than 14.

We eagerly recommend several activities to explore its natural and cultural surroundings, suitable for children older than 4.
